by Maya When I first heard about UGC (User Generated Content) work, I thought it sounded too good to be true. Seeing influencers get PR deals, sponsorships, and brand deals was normal. They’re influencers. But I didn’t believe that someone like me, a college student with a small following of close friends, would be able to make money from social media. What makes UGC different from brands working with popular influencers is that you aren't paid based on how well known you are

If you've been on the fence about UGC, watch this interview with a mom named Lacee. She made $25k in her first seven months of UGC through the course called The Anti-Influencer Method. About: Lacee is a Kansas City 42-year old mom with a son and two stepkids. She has a full-time job where she mostly works from home. She dabbled in affiliate programs and MLMs until she found out that she can make content for brands. "I realized I was spending more on MLMs than I was making," L

It drives me crazy when a website titles something “4 Easy Weeknight Meals” and it’s just… normal meals. If I say easy weeknight meal, I'm not looking for Creamy Garlic and Oregano Chicken and potatoes. That's for when I have TIME. If I’m looking for EASY, I mean EASY. No chopping. No pile of dishes. Maybe not even raw meat. Easy meals are for nights when your kid has art at 6:30, finishes homework at 5:45. Or when you have a headache and you’re driving across town picking k

If you're new here, AIM stands for the Anti-Influencer Method. "What's that?" It's a course that teaches you how to earn an income from home by creating content for brands. I'll keep it super simple. A mom named Megan Spencer left her cushy government job to pursue something different. She started a social media management business with her best friend. I did social media management for small brands and authors for decades as a homeschooling mom! Megan knew there were o

My daughter shares advice for college-aged students & moms who want to make money remotely, how she got her first gig, and

If you’ve been following along, you know that I’ve been doing UGC since around March using the super popular Anti-Influencer Method (AIM). UGC means User Generated Content, and it basically means creating content for brands. Not highly polished content, but real mom life. Since I started, I’ve signed two UGC contracts, one for $850, both faceless. I had every intention of staying faceless because your girl is a bit shy, but this week the most incredible thing happened. I got

You’ve probably been told you need followers to make money online. And if you’re anything like most people I talk to, that alone has already made you feel like it is not for you. But there’s a whole side of content creation that no one really explains. It’s called tech UGC and it’s quietly paying people like you to create simple videos for apps, websites, and online tools. Not to grow your own page… not to become an influencer. You just help brands get more people to download

Hi! I’m Megan. I’m a small-town, introverted mom of two who paid off over $60K in debt without a degree, without going viral, and without showing up every day on social media. A few years ago, I was working as a social media manager while juggling mom life and constantly feeling behind. I didn’t come from money. I didn’t have fancy credentials. But I knew one thing: I was tired of surviving, and I wanted more for my family. I tried a little bit of everything to make ends mee

If you've been following along, you know I've been curious about UGC (User Generated Content), am doing the Anti-Influencer Method (AIM), and I signed a contract with a company! BUT, I missed one important factor when it comes to working with companies: I'm not good at pretending. Like, I cannot fake it. I can't pretend to like something. If I really don't use a service or love a product, I can't hype it up. It makes me feel super weird to even try. This can be a fatal flaw w
