If you've been on the fence about UGC, watch this interview with a mom named Lacee. She made $25k in her first seven months of UGC through the course called The Anti-Influencer Method.
About: Lacee is a Kansas City 42-year old mom with a son and two stepkids. She has a full-time job where she mostly works from home. She dabbled in affiliate programs and MLMs until she found out that she can make content for brands.
"I realized I was spending more on MLMs than I was making," Lacee said.
What is UGC? User Generated Content is all about making content for brands: TikToks and Instagram reels.
Lacee has been doing UGC for seven months and it changed her life. $25k is not small money! She has paid off medical bills and credit card debt.
She found out about UGC from a friend and joined the Side Hustles for Introverts Facebook group. For a month, she just watched the discussions and then she decided to jump in and joined AIM.
It changed her life.
"I have paid on medical bills, I could pay off my husband and my car," Lacee said to Megan Spencer in an interview.
What was your first win?
"When I landed my first gig, I was like, ok I'm doing this. Then I got my first check and thought. Oh, that wasn't as hard as I thought!" said Lacee. "I love that gigs give you a brief. I love not feeling like I'm in the dark of what's expected of me."
"I feel lighter and I feel happier. Not that money solves everything, but when you can buy the things you need, when you have money to be able to buy the things you constantly stressed about, it makes you feel like you have a weight lifted off your shoulders. I'm not waking up stressing about my stepdaughters in Cheer who need an extra hundred dollars for things."
