You need one year of customer service experience to apply.

If you speak French, you're in luck! They're hiring part-time customer servive reps and partial benefits are included. The pay isn't high ($16/hour), but it's a job.

There are positions if you speak Spanish, too.

What it's like working for UHaul from home?

This guy gives a good synopsis of the onboarding process:

Reddit users have lots of advice. Here's what I've learned:

  • Working in sales or customer service can be overwhelming. It's better to work as a reservation agent.

  • Support is there but you can't always count on managers to answer questions quickly so you have to be an independent worker.

  • UHaul software monitors whether or not you are working on other programs while on work hours. Something to keep in mind if you are doing multiple jobs. They will know.

  • Their training is paid.

  • Their benefits are pretty good.

  • They put you on the phones pretty quickly. Expect to hit the ground running.

Overall, this is a good job for someone who needs money now and can handle a bit of stress. Call centers aren't for everyone, but people are making this job work!
