I Found Something

Hey guys! Bunmi here! As those who were here from the beginning know, I started this group last year as I was sitting in my car outside of my homeschool co-op. I've been a work-at-home mom for 15+ years (first as a social media manager, then as a a writer).
I saw that so many moms were interested in working from home so I decided to create this community for us. My vision from the start was to leverage the contacts I'd made while working in social media to help moms find work. So many companies talk about wanting to "work with" moms, but I found out that often isn't true.
After months and months, I noticed that many companies weren't as excited to hire stay-at-home moms or moms who needed flexible schedules as I'd hoped. It was so frustrating! I pivoted and tried to find companies who would hire moms to do reviews of their books and products, even trying to start my own business where I found authors who would pay moms for reviews...nothing really worked.
So I focused on finding remote positions to share.
During this time I kept posting jobs I'd find, but to be honest, I didn't feel too hopeful. So many people were applying to these jobs and they just didn't have the flexiblity that people caring for children need. If you can't have kids in the background, is it really mom friendly? If you have to be glued to your computer, is it stay-at-home mom friendly?
I remember my days as a social media manager with 4-5 clients and how stressed I was during the day trying to prove I could work quickly and get it ALL done while balancing an infant and toddler. I needed to pay rent and buy groceries so I did it, but I wished there was something better.
The group has been great, though. I'm thankful that many have been able to find work with Data Annotation and similar companies. Lots of you have been making money with Outschool and have even hired each other.
But I still felt like I wasn't living up to my promise of finding great opportunities for moms who have little ones running around, kids at home, or who need to be able to pick up and drop off their kids at school every day.
But a few days ago a company called Goli emailed me. They make vegan gummy vitamins for families. Now, I must be just out of the loop, because while I hadn't heard of them, they are huge. They sell vitamins and are in Target, CVS, and are literally the number one store on TikTok shop which is the selling platform companies use on TikTok. They've sold over 100 million bottles of gummy vitamins and have 500,000+ 5-star reviews. They're established and known.
I blame homeschooling for me not knowing what's cool and what everyone is using.
A bit ago, a woman named Ashley emailed me from the company and told me they have a program where people can earn money through an affiliate marketing program.
Now, you already know how anti-MLM I am, but I'm not against affiliate marketing. I use the Amazon associates program on my blog to earn when people buy products from my Amazon store on my mom blog, like many of the moms in our groups do. But I haven't been THAT happy with it. You have to post quite a bit to see even a small return (think less than $100 a month) being an Amazon affiliate.
I have a dream of starting a big publishing company one day and need more than writer's income to do it, but being an Amazon affiliate wasn't proving lucrative for me.
Affiliate marketing is when you earn a portion of a product you promote, but what makes Goli's program different from Amazon's is that it's a much bigger commission.
If you're a mom, you're constantly telling people about the products you use. I am a Scrub Daddy evngelist lol, but we never earn anything from it. I thoroughly believe we should. Moms build companies with our endoresement but none of them pay us. Goli actually does.
I started researching Goli and got on a phone call with the company's founder and a few of their team members. They were amazing and real. It felt like talking to people who work for Trader Joes- you can tell when a company that really cares about their people.
I instantly had one big issue: I'm not good at pretending. I have to really like something to say that I do. I have no poker face at all. I just wasn't born with one. Goli sent me out a package of their most popular gummy vitamins and I became an instant fan of the Matcha Mind and the Ashwagandha gummies.
I have a husband, three kids, and two cats, and deal with stress mainly through walking, prayer, and tea. I haven't had alcohol in a long time and only drink decaf because my body is really sensitive. I tried Matcha Mind and Ashwagandha with low expectations, but listen. Whatever was in those two made a difference I could actually feel and I'm a skeptical person. Ashwagandha is calming. I felt it 100%. That was unexpected.
I used to drink wine almost every evening to relax. When I first started quitting, this would have helped tremendousy. Moms do deal with a lot and it's why CBD and wine are so popular, but I can't do substances and be a present mom or happy person. The Ashwagandha is here if you want to quit reading and get it. (It's my link- shipping always free worldwide, even if you buy just one bottle- it's their commitment).

Now, I don't want to sound like those MLM people talking about their wellness products' wild claims, but I had my 15 year-old who was diagnosed with ADHD try Matcha Mind and she also said she felt calmer and completed her assignments with way less spacing out. She was the one who remembered to take her vitamins the next day. Placebo effect? I don't believe so because we've tried so many things that haven't worked.
Sidenote: Talking about a product is easy when you actually like it.

Again, if you want to take a break from my novel here and get Matcha Mind, it's here.
Now, I'm not a big supplements or natural products person. I use bleach and Pine Sol and don't care who knows it. So when natural products do what they claim to, I'm surprised. I can see why they're so popular. I can see why they have great reviews of people being able to quit prescriptions and things like that. I get it. It's not just hype. They're the Scrub Daddy of Vitamins. Plus they're gummies and taste like candy which is welcome.
Yesterday, I sat down with Goli's founder and head of marketing and told them both about how I really do love their products and about how I'd been looking for a company that could actually help moms make money without making their lives miserable in the process (call centers).
They told me about their parterners program that gives creators a 25% commission (the highest I've seen so far) and has a lot of support. There is a whole message board with resources on how to get started and do it well. They have over 100,000k creators. There are moms in there doing very well. Of course, it's all free. Unlike MLMs, you don't pay to try.
I'm a full-time writer, but have dreams of becoming a publisher who releases books by writers who aren't getting seen. I have dreams of books I'd like to put out, get into distribution channels, and advances I'd like to present authors with. I'd estimate that I need around $100k to launch my publishing house the way I'd like to and hire part-time editors, graphic designs, etc.
So what I'm doing is leading by example. Goli hasn't given me a penny to promote them or tell anyone about their program, I just think it's the best one I've seen so far and know it has actual great products behind it.
I'm going to start their Partners Program and give it all I can with work, life, kids, laundry: all of that still going on and be 100% transparent about the process and how it's going.
25% on something I would actually buy myself, is amazing. They have a support system and resources where people who have been doing this share their tips and wins and it's filled me with a fire because I know this is something moms can do and earn some real money instead of $40 here and there.
$500-$2,000 a month is more than possible and you're not at the mercy of your laptop all day. There are women have made much mor than that, but I like to keep things realistic. In the server, people share screenshots of their earnings. $1,200 here. $600 there. And of course there are heavy hitters in the high thousands. They're regular people.
My goal is an extra $50k within a year, but my secret goal that I'm afraid to say out loud is an extra $100k. I'm going to start talking about Goli as a mom to moms on a TikTok account I have with about 300 followers. I know for these things, consistency is key.
I've been in the message group and have seen people making $1,000 a month in a few hours of consistent posting a week. I already knew affiliate marketing was huge, but it's a shift to go from thinking about hourly work to something new. There are companies willing to share profits.
I know a lot of people have a knee-jerk reaction to these things, but you can't live a different life if you don't do things differently. When dropshipping first came out, people laughed and said it was dumb. But those who got in early did extremely well.
Same with Etsy. Same with Amazon. I don't want to join after the fact on this. I don't want skepticism or fear to make me not reach my goals. It costs nothing to try and my publishing company isn't going to fall into my lap. I have to do something different and go for it.
The people at Goli have been so sweet. Next week I'm hosting a Zoom with a couple of mom who have done well with Goli. I asked them if they'd give away some stuff and we are indeed giving away products including at least one ipad, maybe two, during the Zoom!
If you want to be on it, watch this space for details. I'm thinking it'll be next Thursday at 7 or 8ish EST. Kids are invited. This will never be a place where you have to pretend you don't have a family. Just hit mute so we don't hear siblings slapping each other.
If you're feeling adventurous want to join the partner's program with me you can do that here (it's free): https://go.goli.com/QvhnX
We're going to have Zooms, chats, phone calls, and do this well. I'm really determined.
I belive in 100% transparency. Goli hasn't paid me anything. I just love that program offers a good commission and that they have two products that have already helped me and my kid.
Read the Amazon reviews for the Ashwagandha.
Read the Amazon review for the Matcha Mind.
You can get Matcha Mind, the Ashwagandha gummy, the Apple Cider Vinegar gummy (I'm taking it for digestion) and the rest of the line here: https://go.goli.com/WAHMClub

Details: Partners get 25% off everyone using their links. Regular people are posting on TikTok and Instagram and paying their rent, mortgage payments, and putting kids through school with this program.
You also earn 5% off of people who sign up as a partner through you. I was afraid that was a bit MLMy, but you're not managing a team, pressuring anyone, meeting quotas, carrying inventory, or being a feral pusher, you just get to earn residual income.

I've spent the last years begging companies to take a chance on moms with little to no result. It's crazy because they know we carry influence but so many are unwilling to pay us. This is the brightest light I've seen so far so I'm jumping. Join me on the ride. I'll share everything and the whole truth!
love, Bunmi

NEW: Attention Creators or Future Creators! Event Next Wednesday @ 7:30pm EST! We’re having a Facebook live in the group instead of a Zoom with Goli vitamins where you can learn about affiliate marketing and how to make $500-2,000+/month like so many parents already are. Goli is sold in Target, CVS, and more.
Not an MLLM. No inventory or cost or anything weird. Just regular affiliate marketing but with great perks.
During the live Goli is giving away gummy vitamins and three iPads! I’m so excited!
