Hiring: Mom Organization Hiring a Business Development Manager

If you’re a mom who loves connecting women and helping build community, this remote opportunity with MomCo could be worth a look.
MomCo is a faith-based organization that helps moms find friendship, support, belonging, and community through local groups. The organization works with churches, ministry leaders, and moms around the country to launch MomCo communities where women can connect and grow in their faith together. In this Business Development Manager role, you would help make those connections happen by working with churches and leaders who are interested in starting a MomCo group in their community.
This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week remote position that combines relationship building, sales, ministry, and community development. You would talk with pastors, ministry leaders, nonprofits, and moms, answer questions, follow up with potential partners, and help guide them through the process of launching a group.

A mom may have more experience for this type of job than she realizes. If you've worked in sales, ministry, customer service, fundraising, networking, community outreach, volunteer coordination, church leadership, or partnership development, those skills could translate well.
Maybe you've spent years organizing groups at church or school, recruiting volunteers, making phone calls, following up with people, or getting others excited about an idea.
This position also calls for someone who is organized, comfortable with technology, good at communicating, persistent, and able to build trust. You also need to be comfortable with goals and a lot of outreach.
If you're interested, take a few minutes to customize your resume specifically for this position before applying. Look at the listing and bring forward any experience you have with sales, ministry development, relationship building, outreach, leadership, phone calls, CRM systems, or measurable results.
Don't assume that experience has to come from a traditional corporate job. If you've built relationships, organized people, promoted a ministry or organization, recruited volunteers, or helped grow a community, those experiences may be worth highlighting.
Occasional travel for conferences and events may be required, but not necessarily.
