Diary of a UGC College Girl: #2

UGC Update! I’m in full exam mode right now, so yeah, balancing work, school, and trying to learn at the same time is kind of chaotic. Not gonna lie. But summer’s coming up and I really want to already have momentum with UGC - User generated content- instead of starting from zero when I finally have more free time.

So here’s what I’ve actually gotten done the past few days:

  • I made profiles on a bunch of UGC platforms (some of them make you do little tasks… but honestly it’s fine)

  • Fixed up my TikTok so it actually looks like I know how to make content

I don't have a lot of followers but that doesn't matter with UGC!

Right now I have three simple videos where I’m casually “selling” a product/app, nothing crazy. I also did a couple photo carousels of my favorite things and included some apps, plus one where I’m actually using a product. Keeping it super chill and real.

Also, if you struggle with motivation like I do sometimes, the success stories in the Anti-Influencer Method Skool actually help a lot. It makes it feel way more doable seeing other normal people figure it out.

If you're focusing on photos over videos, the Faceless UGC examples are helpful!

I really want to land my first gig soon. I’ve definitely been a little distracted lately, but I’m locking in this week for real. I think the biggest thing for me is getting over that mindset of “if I’m making money, it has to be hard.” Getting deals feels intimidating in my head, but realistically it’s not that deep.

Game plan for this week:

  • finish all my profiles on the UGC apps/sites

  • complete any demo tasks they gave me

  • stay consistent on TikTok (posting every couple days, no excuses)

I CAN DO THIS!!!
