Sensory tables are hugely popular these days. Parents buy them locally and online. They are typically made of the following parts: a low table that holds one of more items, bins, utensils or toys, and the sensory items themselves which can range from slime, putty, water, beads, dry pasta, sand or more.
Sensory tables are meant to help a child engage all of their five senses: taste, touch, smell, sight, and hearing.
Sensory tables help children develop cognitive skills, fine motor skills, language skills, and creativity. They also help children on the spectrum or with other issues self-regulate, stim, and calm.
Sensory bins- the containers that hold all of the fun bits children play with- are hugely popular and there are many parents who would love to have one for the toddler or older child.
In an age where kids are playing with tablets and electronics young and younger and for extended amounts of times, parents are looking for toys that will keep children occupied and off of screens.

Who buys sensory bins?
Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends for birthday parties, daycares, schools, and more. Most sensory bin companies are owned by moms who saw the value in them and wanted to create them for other people.
Do I have to sell on Etsy?
No! You can start a local sensory bin company. Create an Instagram account and begin promoting your bins. Bonus: If this is something you love, it'll be fun to do.
Follow people online who follow schools, daycares, and play center pages. Find as many parents as you can and follow them (wait until you have a few posts up). Then post, post, post!

And because I'm excited about this...
My Social Media Manager Guide is out! I've been a social media manager since my oldest was a baby. I started because I didn't want to put her in daycare. Frankly, I couldn't afford daycare even if I wanted to! Even with the best job that I would have been able to get with no college degree, it would have not covered daycare fees.
